ROOTS.
Mike’s parents came to America from Guyana in 1966 and became U.S. citizens on July 4, 1976, the nation’s Bicentennial.
TECHNOLOGY AND EDUCATION.
Mike’s lifelong relationship with technology spans computer science and information networking, shaped by study at MIT, WPI, and Carnegie Mellon.
MUSIC AND FAITH.
Music has long inspired Mike, from competing as a classical pianist and performing at the White House Pageant of Peace to serving as a worship-team pianist and, today, on the board of Choral Arts DC.
FAMILY AND ATHLETICS.
Mike’s life outside work is grounded in family, coaching, endurance events such as Tough Mudder and the Marine Corps Marathon, and competitive pickleball.
NONPROFITS AND INSTITUTIONS.
Mike’s long-standing service includes leadership across business, education, and civic institutions, including YPO, Ambleside School, Timothy Christian School, Carnegie Mellon University, and Guyana Outreach!
